9th April 2003 I think it's time for a small update to this page. So what have I been doing these past few weeks? Currently I'm revising for university exams (the finals!) so I haven't been working on the actual missions, but I have been doing mission briefing, debriefings etc and other small bits. I prefer to work on missions when I have a reasonable lenght of free time. As the the missions themselves, about half are finished and I could technically release them tomorrow. Most of the rest just need a little bit of balancing, spell checking and the like. There is one mission which needs to be finished. It's currently got the basics present, but no enemy vessels, messages etc etc. 20th March 2003 The site has been moved (obviously) to the Freespace 2 Sector. Thanks to them for hosting me. You can also visit the forum here. I've got a few future plans for the site. Firstly I wish add a link to the forum on my link bar. I intend to alter the page titles so they download quicker. And for you Netscape users I'll try to work why the Images pages do not seem to show, at least they didn't yesterday. However I'm going away tomorrow for 10 days, so you'll have to wait until after this. 9th March 2003 I have release a demo of Time of Change. It can be found in the Downloads section of the site. If you see and spelling mistakes or have any suggestions for improvements to it then please contact me. 2nd December 2002 Few alterations to the site and campaign. First of all the your squadron in the 192nd Tudor Roses rather than the 192nd Black Queens. This change has occured for the simple reason that the Black Queens squad logo was pretty poor. There's also another image, showing the Tudor Roses squad logo, in the Images section which now also runs at two pages. Finally I've added an archieved new section. 11th November 2002 Tell you what, I won't release the demo yet. It is finished, but I want to release it nearer to the time Act 1 is release. I hope you understand. And if you don't - tough! I've added the better Command Brief ani's, since there were a few problems with the others. 8th May 2002 Good news my honourable friends! Technically the demo is ready for release. When I say technically I mean that I still need to write one set of debriefings, spellcheck and that check a few minor bits. All things been equal I'll try and release around the weekend of the 18th. Compacted (using WinZip8.0) it is about 1.1megs, uncompacted its about 3megs. Can't make it any smaller unfortunately. I've added a couple of pictures to the images page. They're both taken from the first demo (and main campaign for that matter) mission, called 'The First Strike'. Enjoy. 30th April 2002 Haven't done much in some time so this is just a small update. A new image is available showing four examples of the Command Briefing animations I've been working on. They may not be the best in the world, but they'll do the job. Also changed the history page on the GTD Requiem but adding a couple of better pictures than there was. Go on, take a look, please. 20th March 2002 Decided it was time for a little up date. Add a couple of new pictures - and thats about it. Haven't really done that much work on it for a couple of weeks. Been playing Baldur's Gate II and revising for exams. Oh yeah, long live exams! Hows Act I? Aside from Command briefs, over half the missions are complete; about another quarter are finished and require briefs, debriefs and backgrounds; the rest are in various stages ranging from (just!) started to almost complete. The Demo is getting there. 26th February 2002 No major additions to the site except for a brief history of the GTD Requiem, vice-flagship (for want of a better term) for the Terran 5th Fleet. I've also changed some of the title pictures so now there are five different ones. 17th February 2002 I've added a couple of pictures. To answer any questions you may have I have added a little FAQ, more questions and answers will be added as and when I think of them. If you have a question, please ask. I also corrected the date on the item below and, for all who noticed, it was a test to see if you were awake. Actually, I have no idea why I put March instead of February. 2nd February 2002 Added a couple of pictures, the Time of Change node map (sounds very impressive!) and some background history of the 192nd Black Queens. Also should have corrected any visual problems I had discovered, but we will see. 21st January 2002 Finished uploading the 5 main pages of the site. There is nothing in them yet, but give me time. There are to be four acts to this campaign: Act I: The end of the Terran-Vasudan War and the acquistion of Shivan shield technology. Act II: The Great War until the destruction of Vasuda Prime. Act III: The Great War continued until the collapse of the Sol Jump Node. Act IV: The Hades Rebellion and the end of the Great War. I also intend to release a small three mission demo of Act I at some point. So watch out for that. 2002 Uploaded the site, finally(!). Expect more soon oh, and thanks for visiting.
