Rear-Admiral Noah Berdas Noah Berdas was born in 2290 into a military family. Like his father before him, Noah enrolled into the GTA Academy on his eighteenth birthday. He graduated in 2312 and served aboard the GTC Ulysses, the GTC Akira until rising to the rank of Commander. While serving on the GTC Damascus under the command of Captain Adrian Haynes the ship came under attack by the Sword of Darkness - a vicious pirate faction operating in Ikeya. During the engagement Captain Haynes was killed, leaving Commander Berdas in command. Quick thinking on Commander Berdas's part enabled him to successfully pull the Damascus out of the battle. Commander Berdas was promoted to Captain and personally lead the strike force that finally brought an end to the Sword of Darkness. The Damascus was part of the task force assigned to Operation Blazing Star, an attempt to retake the Capella system. After the destruction of the GTCr Superb, Captain Berdas was able to regroup the remaining vessels around the surviving carrier Dauntless and successfully punched a hole through the Vasudan lines at the Vega Node. His plan saved 80% of the remaining ships. Shortly after, Captain Berdas was promoted to Rear-Admiral and assigned to the GTA Design-Bureau in Delta Sepentis. He personally oversaw the redesign of the Hesia-class carriers, drawing on his experience in Capella. Rear-Admiral Noah Berdas was assigned to the GTD Requiem in 2330 while the ship was still in the design stage and oversaw its construction. He is through an able tactician with a flair for doing what is least expected. Even his detractors believe he will continue to go far in the GTA hierarchy.
