I have been working on this turret for a while now. Got e'm down from 1,000 polys to about 300.Also planning on making a Flak type turret and a Beam turret, cause I hate those "Bucket" type turrets that V put on ships. Also need to skin this one.And more than likely they will also rate high on the poly count.

No, I am gonna make totally different turrets for Flak and beams.I am hopeing to make kind of like 4 little guns in one turret, again kind of like the Anti-Aircraft guns of WW II.

you cant have more than 3 gunpoints on one turret IIRC.


oh, and those hexagonal turrets for beams and stuff are classics. you WILL be eaten if you try to change them.

I have now got the turrets down to 200 polys. But, this is about as low as they will go.
